Lord God, I choose today that I will serve You and the way that I will honor You.
As for me and my household, we will serve You.
Joshua 24:15

Lord God, I will never let love and faithfulness leave me;
I will bind them around my neck and write them on the tablet of my heart.
Proverbs 3:3

Lord God, I will enjoy life with my wife, whom I love, all the days of this life.
I know that it is my joy to honor You and this is my lot in life.
Ecclesiastes 9:9

Heavenly Father, I am thankful that You made male and female.
I know that You have asked that we leave our father and mother and be united as one,
husband and wife as one flesh. I will honor my wife because
we are no longer two, but one. What you have joined together,
nothing and no one will separate.
Mark 10:6-9

Lord, I will get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger, brawling and slander,
along with every form of malice. I will be kind and compassionate,
forgiving, just as Christ has forgiven me.
Ephesians 4:31, 32

Heavenly Father, I will love my wife just as Christ loved the church
and gave himself up for her to make her holy,
cleansing her by the washing water through the Word,
and to present her to himself as a radiant church,
without stand or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
In this same way, I will love my wife as my own body.
I know that if I love my wife, I love myself.
Ephesians 5:25-28

Lord, I will rid myself of such things as anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from my lips.
I will not lie since I have taken off my old self and put on the new self,
which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of You.
Colossians 3:8-10

Heavenly Father, I know that if I speak
in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love,
I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender
my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Lord fill me with Your love that is patient and kind.
I desire to give the love that is not envious, does not boast, and is not proud.
I will act in love and not be rude, self-seeking, easily angered, or keep record of wrongs.
As I live a life of love, I will never delight in evil, but rejoice with truth.
I will always protect my wife, always trust, always hope,
and always have a persevering love for her.
I pray that Your love in me will never fail.
1 Corinthians 13:1-8

Lord, I will confess my sins with my wife so that we might
pray for one another and so that we might be healed.
I believe in Your Word that tells me the prayer
of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
James 5:16

Heavenly Father, I will be considerate as I live with my wife and treat her
with respect as the weaker partner and as an heir with me of the gracious gift of life,
so that nothing will hinder my prayers.
1 Peter 3:7
